Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. has created a new website to double the number of global brands in its flagship online mall, taking an important step towards achieving its global ambitions.

Alibaba, in recent years, has grown to become China’s largest public company

Alibaba, for that matter, has long been looking for new growth engines to compensate for a cooling economy at home. With the trade war raging, Alibaba is trying to repel increasingly aggressive competitors, including JD.com Inc. and Pinduoduo Inc.

“The website will expand our reach to merchants, especially those medium and small businesses around the world,” Yi said in an interview. “We will help them with our logistic and marketing services”.

In recent years, Alibaba has grown to become China’s largest public company, spreading e-commerce throughout the world economy n. 2, on which it still depends for the vast majority of its activities.
